As I’ve brainstormed different ways in which I could monetize my brand, I found it difficult to find a strategy that would (1) make me money and (2) make me enough money without ruining the aesthetic of my business.
Allowing ads on a website is always a staple, though it doesn’t exactly look nice. Make me money? Yes. Make me money without ruining my aesthetic? No.
I’ve settled on a podcast. Within a year or two, my goal is to have built my brand to a point where people who don’t know
The Sports Marketing Podcast would focus on discussions about new, innovative and fascinating activations executed by pro and amateur sports teams. I will bring guests who also share the same passion for sports marketing as I do, whether they be industry professionals (if I’m fortunate to gain those connections) or people who have worked with people in the industry. As for the monetization aspect of it, I hope to have companies willing to sponsor me for brand exposure. The details obviously need to be refined, but that’s what I’m thinking for my future monetization strategy.
